At 2 a.m. on September 20th, a Cadillac collided with a packed Hyundai in Seattle. According to police, the 30-year-old Cadillac driver ran a red light at the intersection of Madison Street and Boren Avenue. The impact caused the other car and its 4 passengers to roll over and hit a bank building at the southwest corner of the intersection.
When medics arrived, all 4 people in the Hyundai had to be extricated from the vehicle. They were taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The other driver did not sustain injuries and was arrested after he was evaluated at the scene and found to be impaired.
The crash is currently under investigation.
