Kaia Kopitnik

Associate Attorney

Kaia has experience defending criminal cases in multiple jurisdictions throughout Snohomish County. As a former public defender, she has developed a reputation as a meticulous, professional, and rigorous advocate for the accused. She has litigated a wide range of criminal matters, including a significant number of DUI cases.

Beginning her higher education at Gonzaga university, Kaia earned a B.A. in Psychology there. She went to Seattle University School of Law to complete her J.D. only a few short years after.

Kaia has a strong passion for helping people and strives to give back in ways that make a meaningful difference in her local community. When DUIHeroes works on a new project or assists in a fundraiser that benefits the communities around us, it is a certainty that Kaia will be there doing her part.

Originally from Wyoming, she moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2010 and quickly decided it would be her forever home. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her boyfriend and their two dogs, Penny and Bessie.

“Nobody should ever have to feel that they are alone when dealing with the traumatic stress related to a DUI offense. I promise to be there for you every step of the way and to support you during this difficult time. You can feel confident that I will make your case a priority and will fight hard to get you the best possible outcome. I look forward to being a part of your defense team!”
