New DUI Blood Law Nothing Actually New

The blogosphere and Facebook are alive today with news of the "NEW DUI BLOOD LAW" that went into effect on August 1 in Washington.

As a Lynnwood DUI Attorney, I knew it was coming, and wasn't worried about it.

Why not?

It's NOT NEW.

You see - all it does is make MANDATORY blood draws available for 4 time DUI offenders in 10 years or more. However, we've had POSSIBLE blood draws for ALL DUIs for quite some time.

If you refuse to give a breath test, the officer may get a warrant for your blood and simply take it.

This is not new. It's been on the books for years.

Choosing a DUI lawyer is essential to your defense. It should be someone who knows more about the law than the erroneous Lynnwood Times reporters. Call Lynnwood DUI Attorney Jonathan Dichter for your free consultation.
