How do they relate?

Well apparently they don’t. Because a Snohomish County jury today acquitted Officer Troy Meade of second-degree murder in the shooting death of a Washington DUI suspect.

The Lynnwood PI reports that a jury found an Everett Police officer not guilty in the shooting of A DUI suspect. The suspect was boxed in by police. He had been tazed. His car lurched forward. And he was then shot. To death.

That’s right folks – don’t lurch your car – especially if you’re surrounded by police officers who have already tazed you. You might just get shot SEVEN TIMES.

Look – I’m not one of the jurors, and I wholly agree with the justice system. But at times, there are inadequacies here. And we all know that police officers are judged by a different standard than the rest of us. And they SHOULDN’T be.

If you find yourself faced with a surrounding of police officers – don’t hesitate – don’t lurch – don’t fight. Just call Lynnwood DUI Attorney Jonathan Dichter at 425-424-9401. Doing so will give you good advice from a skilled local DUI attorney so you don’t end up antagonizing an officer like Officer Meade.
